Tournament Rules
Order of play; 1 v 2, 3 v 4, 1 v 3, 2 v 4, 1 v 4, etc.
12 players: 5 will play in each half of the game, no substitutes.
No time outs.
2 x 8 minutes running clock halves. The clock will stop however, for all free throws and in the event of injury or other problem as decided by referees.
Any player who reaches 3 fouls in a half will be fouled out of that game. The
designated reserve will replace that player.
Free throws will be awarded when 5 team fouls are reached (2 shots).
The two teams not involved in each game will provide referees, except for the play-off games in the finals stage. In this case, neutral grade 3 or higher referees will be used.
Any tied games, with the exception of the semi finals and the final, will remain tied and the points will be shared. 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tied game.
The top team from each group will play in the final stage at St. Columba's College.
The winner of each group will play in a 3 way play off (1 v 2, 2 v 3, 3 v 1) to decide overall winners (2 x    8 minute running clock halves)
